신분증
1. ID Card, Identification
This is extremely important, as you'll be asked this at the store when buying beer or cigarettes or at the door before entering a club. One personal experience with this word is that I went to CU and attempted to buy a bottle of 소주 and was asked for my 신분증, but I didn't understand! The convenience store worker then said "ID" but I was already embarrassed for not knowing the word. Don't let this happen to you!
