Word of the Day: 죽겠다 - 졸라/존나 - 완전

죽겠다 - 졸라/존나 - 완전

Are all words to emphasize expressions of feelings, such as angry, mad, sad, or happy, or funny. By placing one of these words in front of or behind your state, you'll place emphasis on that emotion.

죽겠다
Means that you feel this so much, that you're dying. Can also mean "really" or "terribly". Let's look at a few examples. Placement of 죽겠다 usually comes after the word.

목말라 죽겠어요!
I'm dying of thirst!

보고싶어 죽겠다
I miss you terribly!

아파 죽겠다.
I'm really sick.

간지러 죽겠다.
I'm dying of being tickled.

지겨워 죽겠다.
I'm terribly bored.

화나 죽겠다.
I'm super angry.

졸라/존나
*** This term is considered slang and is actually considered a bad word.
This is another term to place emphasis on your feelings. But instead of coming after, usually the placement happens before your expression.  Such as:

졸라 짜중나.
So annoyed.

존나 졸려.
Very tired.

졸라 추워.
So cold.

존나 더워.
So hot.

완전
This can place emphasis and means "completely" or "fully" or "perfectly" as is something is so funny, it's perfect. Let's check out a few examples:

완전 웃겨 - Perfectly funny or hilarious.
완전 배고파 - Completely hungry.
완전 피곤해 - Totally tired.

So, there you have it. A few more words to express your feelings. Next up, I'll try to list a few more words to express our emotions or feelings, as they are pretty important words for communication!
