Korean Grammar: 으로/로

This word is a particle that you attach to a word with which you do something. In other words, if you complete an action with a tool/way/mode of transportation, then this is what you would use. Can also be used to indicate direction/where you are traveling/going (similar to 에/게)

으로 - used with words that have final consonant
로 - used with words without final consonant
* Words ending in ㄹ will use 로

ex.
룸으로 - by room
차로 - by car
택시로 - by taxi
비행기로 - by airplane

휴대폰으로 - with phone

젓가락으로 - with chopsticks
젓가락으로 저녁식사 먹었어요. - I ate dinner with chopsticks

학교로 - (going to) school
공항으로 - (going to) airport
