Hello everyone,
Hope everyone had a great holiday and is ready to get back to work. Have you ever been to Times Square? No, not the one in New York City, but the one in Korea. Times Square Mall is situated in the Yeongdeungpong-gu, Seoul area. It's one of the largest malls in Korea and home to the CGV Starium, the world's largest 35mm movie screen. It's an excellent spot for some shopping and entertainment, easily filling a day's worth of activities.
There's also a lot of great places to eat. Din Tai Fung is a Chinese restaurant in Times Square Mall that is a great place to visit if you need to fuel up after a long stint of shopping.
The design of the restaurant was large and had a great atmosphere and helpful staff.
These partitions were nice. They provided the illusion of privacy yet didn't cut down on the space.
Overhead lighting here just above our table. If you're interested in being seated at a table with flattering light, this place passes the test.
The menu had almost everything you would want at a dumpling house. As someone from Philadelphia with a really good Chinatown, this place did not disappoint. The food tasted authentic and really made me miss traveling to China.

And here is a detail of the dumpling. It comes with a side dish of soy sauce, vinegar, and small pieces of ginger. It really goes well with the soup.
